Forget a degree - I'm gonna start a wallpaper company🤩

Сайн байна уу манайхан!!! How is everyone?? 

Highlights from this week:

1. We got to help a lady in the ward put up some wallpaper! We were welcomed in and given food, Mongolian soda, house slippers, and it was just so much fun!! Turns out we are actually like basically wallpaper pros....after the first 4 tries of course.

2. It SNOWEDDDDD like a LOT! it was so much fun 

3. We got Bible bashed??? Basically some lady wanted to learn about the Bible and started rambling off questions and then saying she doesn't need anything else except for the bible but she wants to find the true church but also she runs a church and wants us to join hers....or something like that....I didn't understand a single word in that whole hour and a half 

4. We went to a youth activity and they watched black panther in Mongolian...it was wild.

5. So basically when it snows here they just leave it and it gets all icy and slippery and muddy (they don't even plow most of the streets lol) and I slipped in the snow. TWICE. ice skating flashbacks fr 

6. Met the cutest little girl named tselmeg (her favorite English word is 'bruh') in our ward and when we walked her home from church her grandma made us dinner  and then her mom invited us over the next night too! And made us soup that had FULL chicken drumsticks in it haha

7. A random old guy walked into the church with a little puppy and tried to give it to us...but the puppy was SO CUTE and also he thought I was Russian and called me "хөөрхөн амьтан" which means cute animal lol....its a compliment here i guess haha

Spiritual thought

I reread President Nelson's "Think Celestial" talk (if you haven't read it yet PLEASE do its so so amazing) and it is such a good reminder of how to live our lives! When we keep an eternal perspective and make choices with our end goal in mind, we will make decisions that help our lives now as well as in our future AND after we die!! 

"the very things that will make your mortal life the best it can be are exactly the same things that will make your life throughout all eternity the best it can be!" It is never too late to start changing and improving your life so that you can live with God again
