Well um....hey guys....i had a whole email written out. An. Entire. Email. And it deleted...The whole thing. Funny parts and all. So uhhh you guys are just gonna get a real short run down i think. Just use your imagination to make it moreentertainingbut here's the sparknotes version of the highlight reel:

- once upon a time the elders decided to let chatgpt give us our transfer predictions. Im not saying chatgpt knows all, but....."sister jensen will move to erdenet for a fresh start"well you heard it here folks, I got transfered to erdenet!! It is just a hot, skip, and a jump (and a 14 hour train ride) away from the city!

My new companion is sister burningham and this is her last transfer! We are both new to this area so we are having quite the adventure, taught a taxi driver the whole first lesson, had to sprint with our suitcases to make the train on time, then spent the next 14 hours in a tiny little train room with the other sisters. It was like the polar express 

- So lets talk about ERDENET! This area is known as "diwaajan" or paradise, and its called that for good reason in my opinion. First off, it is an adorable little mountain town, like park city, utah, and the fall actually exists here! It is so warm and sunny and beautiful! (Although last night i was told "yes it is warm but thats actually a lie so you still need a jacket" lol) there are only two main streets here, and the people are lovely and so sweet! it is so peaceful and you can start expecting more pictures of cows soon (yes ladies and gents she is back baby) safe to say I love it here

- my first day here i heard there was a church activity. We pulled up and before i could even introduce myself i was all of the sudden peeling eggs and cutting apples. They were having HARHOG! this is a bbq type feast that I've been wanting to have for forever! So i got to meet a whole bunch of the adorable members whilst eating a sheep leg right off the boneit was actually the most exciting fever dream day of my life

- the weirdest thing about this area, is our branch has 8 missionaries, and only 2 english classes....so this is the first time i havent actually had my own english class to teach and thats so weird! But last night we helped the other missionaries and played an intense game of hot seat and do you love your neighbor 

-ALSO. all of Mongolia is watching conference next week sooo.....I have started it ahead of them but IM NOT DONE SO NO SPOILERS ZAA YU 

- sister burningham and i are starting a new tradition of pday eve drink making! Last night we made homemade apple ciderwith juice, cinnamon, orange peels, and some other random seasoning that looked sort of fall related. 10/10 would definitely recommend 

Spiritual thought:

One of my favorite conference talks that i listened to was by elder soares! He talked about submitting your will to the will of God, because Gods plan is the best plan and he knows whats best for you! He said he wants us to have the mindset of "what works for THEE works for ME" i am worming everyday to gain more confidence in God's plan for me. I am a planner and often think that my way is the best way, but God has a perfect knowledge and sees our live from a birds eye view! We all have a potential greater than we could ever know, and we can only accomplish it through following God's will
